The camera came with batteries and SD card so was ready to use. Easy to set up, following online instructions. A real plus was the WiFi connection to my mobile phone. Simple to view camera video on phone, good quality, no need to go to camera. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great camera, easily connects to and can be controlled by the mobile app. Good quality video, motion detector works really well. But don't scan the warranty QR code in the enclosed booklet, as it leads to a very dodgy website that will request your card details and charge a £59.99 subscription renewal after 24 hours unless you cancel it immediately...

I recommend this camera on the basis of its ease of use and reliability. I have used it effectively to record video footage and photographs of wild animals visiting my garden. The set up process is easy to follow. The settings are easy to select and set. It uses a micro sd card. You can set up 'working time', select photo, video or both. Make your selections on each setting. Personally I always turn off the Beep Sound. Photos Burst - select up to 5 photos to be taken every time the camera is triggered. The TrailCam Go app is pretty slick. If you press record from your phone, whatever you record, is saved. Once the connection is cancelled it immediately returns to your camera settings. Be aware using the app frequently will drain your TC80 batteries quicker. Overall a good camera for a reasonable price.

First time for buying a trail cam so looked at price, reviews and what I wanted from it, eventually decided on this usogood model, lower pixels than I'd been aiming for, but I'm new to it and didn't want to spend a small fortune on something I couldn't use, I'm so happy I did, comes with 32gb card, batteries & two ways to install, a long strap or a camera mount that can be screwed to a wall or fence if you wish. It was simplicity itself to set up, I downloaded the app to take advantage of the wifi built in, this also connected up easily, so first outing got to be a test of water resistance too as it hammered down the next morning before collection, it passed with flying colours, I did strike lucky first time out and was really impressed with the results, so very happy I chose this model, I'm now looking at adding a second to cover another area. I can't recommend this enough.

Fantastic picture quality from this 4K Bluetooth WiFi wilderness camera. I have one already installed within the trees at the back of garden and am impressed with how well these cameras work in all light conditions. Bonus that it comes with an as card and batteries 👍🏻 great price as usual from this brand 👌🏻 I went for the camo version which blends in well .

The media could not be loaded. Acquistata il 30 giugno 2022, oggi posso dire che le foto e le riprese sono veramente soddisfacenti e di qualità. La fototrappola è molto ben fatta e robusta; è stata esposta alle intemperie con vento e pioggia forte senza che la stessa ne abbia risentito. Le batterie non ricaricabili durano abbastanza, sempre in relazione alle ore di utilizzo, ma sarebbe preferibile investire su buone ricaricabili da 1.5 v. Ho unito solo alcuni video con gatto-topo-civetta-riccio perché già vedendolo ci si rende conto del prodotto di qualità in rapporto al prezzo. Solo al fine di migliorare il prodotto, segnalo che il collegamento con l'app su android (io uso un S8) risulta lentino e talvolta perde il collegamento, inoltre risulta abbastanza lento nel download delle immagini e video sullo smartphone, anche se questo penso sia normale. Resta da dire che l'utilizzo del collegamento via app lo si utilizza sicuramente quando la fototrappola non è facilmente accessibile, come quando viene posizionata su un albero o altro posto simile, giusto per verificare se ci sono state riprese o foto; personalmente apro lo sportellino e vedo immediatamente a monitor se la fottotrappola si è attivata o meno. La fototrappola è robusta e bella da vedere, inoltre è veramente completa anche nel menu. Se facessi parte dei produttori, proporrei nella vendita sia le batterie ricaricabili batterie li-ion da 1.5 volt ad altissima autonomia e un pannellino solare, infatti permetterebbe di effettuare foto e video lunghi a volontà. Inoltre cercherei di trovare un sistema per avere un'impostazione "video senza fine" che permetta alla fotocamera di attivarsi e poi interrompere il video dopo un Time Out stabilito dall'utente, ad esempio con stop 10 secondi dopo che non viene più rilevato alcun segnale di movimento, permettendo di scegliere se far cancellare il contenuto a memoria piena (come predefinita ora) oppure interrompere la ripresa video e scatto delle foto con spegnimento della fototrappola. Penso che questa modifica sia facilmente raggiungibile per i programmatori, che dovranno anche permettere l'upgrade sulla fototrappola da parte dell'utente finale. Aggiungo anche che esistono schede telefoniche (SIM) che vengono utilizzate per gli allarmi di casa , SIM che hanno un costo veramente irrisorio per un anno intero e che garantiscono un minimo di dati internet e chiamate vocali; questo permetterebbe di integrare questa fototrappola con questa tecnologia per gestirla a distanza e ricevere eventuali avvisi di attivazione, problemi di batterie scariche o altro sul proprio Smartphone, ovviamente lasciando la possibilità di collegamento wifi come è ora in modo da poterla utilizzare dove è assente il segnale della telefonia. Aggiungerei anche un puntatore laser per una più veloce e precisa installazione, in particolare per i punti di difficile accesso. Concludo dicendo che a me piace molto e già così è un prodotto eccellente e che oltre a consigliarla la ricomprerei. Ora sto cercando una fototrappola con le stesse qualità ma che sia molto più contenuta, in modo da poterla installare all'interno di una casetta dei ricci o, tane o posti con spazi ridotti. Complimenti ai produttori e ai venditori che sono risultati molto efficienti nell'assistenza. Bravi!

Ich habe die Kamera jetzt einige Tage im Einsatz und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Hier meine Eindrücke im Detail: Bild- und Videoqualität: Die Kamera bietet verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten für die Aufnahmequalität – bis hin zu 4K. Diese Flexibilität gefällt mir besonders gut, da man je nach Einsatzzweck (z. B. Akkulaufzeit oder Speicherplatz) anpassen kann. Die Bilder und Videos sind gestochen scharf, auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen liefert die Kamera noch gute Ergebnisse. Bedienung: Die Menüführung ist übersichtlich und selbsterklärend. Auch als jemand, der sich nicht ständig mit Technik beschäftigt, kam ich sehr schnell zurecht. Die Einrichtung ging fix und ohne Probleme. Zubehör & Stromversorgung: Ein großer Pluspunkt: Es sind direkt 8 Batterien im Lieferumfang enthalten. Das ist heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich und spart Zeit und extra Kosten. Auch die Halterung wirkt stabil und durchdacht. Gesamteindruck: Für mich ein rundum gelungenes Gerät. Die Kamera macht genau das, was sie soll – und das zuverlässig. Für alle, die Tiere beobachten oder das Grundstück überwachen möchten, ist diese Kamera absolut empfehlenswert.

The Usogood WIFI trail camera is a great product. It’s a sturdy and rugged design that works great in cold and warm, wet and dry conditions. It has a great picture taking effect and 4K video. I really like the night vision. The motion detection also works great. I like the how I can download directly to my phone with the app and WIFI. I don’t have to remove the memory card to load my pictures and videos. I like the long battery life. I also like how everything you need like the batteries, and memory card comes with the kit. You just need to download the free app. I also like the customer support for any help needed to set it up.

The media could not be loaded. I have used USoGood trail cams in the past as well as other brands and wanted to test this new model with additional connectivity features and other upgrades. My notes, suggestions and recommendations follow. Was the package delivered in good shape? Yes, packed compactly and well protected. Was the packing sustainable with minimal waste? OK. Most packing material was recycled. Plastic lens covers weren't and probably could have been replaced with paper or other material. Was a readable manual provided? Yes, but printed manual is more generic than the online version that can be downloaded via QR code. There are links to several brief but useful instruction videos. Were all parts included and in good shape?Yes, everything arrived well packed and in good condition. Yes, all lens had a removable plastic cover to protect from scratches etc. Is the product the same as advertised? Yes, there seem to be several versions of this model as the manual and video show full size SD cards and identify a different App used to control the trail cam. Were any necessary tools identified and/or provided? Yes except a micro-USB cable wasn't provided to connect directly to the cam to download photos to a computer. Were any extra parts or accessories provided? Accessories were provided allowing the trail camera to be mounted. Is the product sturdy, made well and if possible using recycled or similar parts? Yes, solid feel using mostly plastic components. The latches felt stiff and closed compartments down well. Unfortunately the camera isn't recommended for use with rechargeable batteries which increases waste and cost over time. Are there any visible or obvious safety concerns? No. There are potential personal security issues if personal information is provided via the trail camera app or camera. Password control to app and camera are available and a locking bracket is provided to secure case. Did product adequately perform intended functions or purpose? My tests were with the iOS app with an iPhone 13 Pro with media transfers using an iPad M2 Air and an iMac. App control of camera generally works. I needed to restart the app at times to improve its ability to reconnect. Bluetooth can be balky. Restarting camera or app was necessary at times. Connects were reestablished afterwards in each case. Photo gallery was slow to refresh at first but got better. Downloads and viewing of photos and videos worked well. Battery drain seemed excessive going down 20% after light use over one day. This was apparently temporary as battery levels returned to 100% the following day. Several days later of near constant use has the battery level at 80%. I was unable to download media from the camera using the usb port. The manual shows a micro-usb port but the device has a USB-C port. A short USB-C cable was provided. When connected the camera shows a cable on the screen but no menu functions work. The camera powers on to the cable view even when switched off if connected via the USB-C port. This was tested with several different computer resulting in the same negative results. The manual doesn't cover transfer of media by usb cable. I tested the camera with fully charged rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries aren't recommended But there are other brand of trail cameras that do work with rechargeable batteries. The manual is clear rechargeable batteries are not to be used. Some of the batteries seemed to fit tighter but all were able to be installed. I was able to connect the app to the camera but the camera did not show views on screen and photos taken via app did not show up in camera but were transferred to iPad. This would be a good future upgrade with requirement that only high quality rechargeable batteries be used. Does the product compare with other more expensive alternatives? Yes, this camera has several bluetooth/wifi features that add value especially at this price point. Being able to remotely change settings and review or download photos and video while near the camera is good. This is a time saver and can help better position the camera or check that settings are correct. A longer test is planned to test this further under more remote conditions. I have two units of another model USogood trail camera at a remote farm site for months now with adequate performance. I expect this product to perform similarly. Were photos taken? Yes of unpacking and mounted in use from tree and small tripod. Were any measurements made of performance or function? Battery drain seemed excessive with 20% loss in a single day. This may have been a temporary problem as battery levels returned to normal the next day. I also tested the camera mounted with a small tripod. Standard mount provided works ok. A wall mount kit was provided but not tested. I examined camera performance under rainy conditions. The camera stayed dry. Some water did collect under edges of case and battery covers but no water seen further inside. USB transfer of photos work? No, connection didn't work after multiple attempts. App management of photos/video content adequate? OK, there seems to be a lag in gallery viewing and downloads don't show up in app where expected. Do I recommend the product or have concerns? Yes, at least under light duty easily maintained situations. The camera is well made and app control improves field use and applications. Some of these features may need app and/or hardware upgrades to improve performance and reliability for long term use. Further testing planned. I would like to see future upgrades include the ability to use the camera with quality rechargeable batteries added, a better printed manual provided, and improved software App performance. Several features of the camera appear to have been recent upgrades including move to micro-SD card and switch to USB-C. Both are good upgrades but the manual needs to be upgraded including changes in how these features operate.
