I purchased this camera after my old one packed in. I had read the reviews and thought this sounded good for the money. Upon opening the box I was surprised to see a bracket to mount on a post which I have used. Connecting to the app and setting it up was fairly easy. I have it set on a timer so. Only records at night and am surprised that after over a week the battery is still a 80% when I check it. The Bluetooth range on it is approximately 12feet or 4meters which you need to switch the WiFi on and it normally connects first time. You can even use it as a live cam but I would think this may drain the battery quite quickly. Picture quality at night. Is good and you can set the distance you can see at night although I haven't tried this. Overall a well made camera with a built in battery that lasts well, takes good night video and a good price because it came with a memory card as well. . That's all the boxes I need ticking

Even though our garden has been accessible to local wildlife with low fences and gaps in places for twenty years+, some elusive creature has been visiting our garden at night and causing a bit of drama. Previous visitors have included badgers, foxes, and the odd hedgehog, so we bought this Trail Cam to see if we can identify the culprit. I didn't want to link it to the wi-fi, so it just behaves like a normal trail-cam in the wild, so to speak. Firstly, I charged it fully with the USB lead provided using my mobile phone plug. So far, the solar panel appears to be topping up the charge without inserting x4 batteries, which is my preference at the mo. We'll just keep an eye on it if the sun's not made an appearance. I purchased a separate 128gb one in place of the one supplied, as I didn't want it filling up too quickly - plus, good to know the cam has a setting where you can select it to automatically loop over old footage when it gets full (just remove the SD card as per the instructions and save any files you want to keep any before it overwrites). The device was really easy to set up, a bit like the old camcorders of yore. The basic instructions provided are simple to follow to set the length of the recording, how often it triggers, the time of operation (we set ours just at night), and the quality of the images. Our is fitted to a sunny side fence (for the benefit of the solar panel) using the metal bracket supplied, and it gives an impressive view of the garden at night. A strap is also supplied if you want to attach it to a tree or post too. Care needs to be taken to ensure the PIR sensor is facing the best 'trigger' area. I'm sure we'll tweak the settings over time, and maybe even the position to get the most out of it, but for now it's set to snap both video and a still shots when the motion sensor has been triggered. And... so far, we've discovered a skulking fox and a sauntering cat, but we'll be curious to see more visitors' antics as they're passing through. As I deliberately chose not to link to wi-fi and download the app, I'll just manually take a peek at the screen on the device to see if any photos or videos have been taken. I can then either view them there-and-then on the trail-cam screen and delete them, etc, or remove the SD card to view indoors, and save the files if necessary. Just remember to follow the instructions for removing the card, and also turn the cam back on when you reinsert the SD card, otherwise it won't be in 'working mode' and won't take any footage. Delighted with it so far - I think it'll be really useful (and hopefully more interesting!) in the long run :)

Good camera a images are good, I finally know what causes havoc in my garden, specially catching a fox with high fencing all around it must fly....easy to set up and app works well. It has been in my garden for over a week and battery is still full.

UPDATE: I managed to find a way to contact the seller (under product 'order details') and they responded quickly. We were unable to resolve my camera's charging problems, so the seller sent a replacement camera free of charge. I was told there is an 18 months Warranty, so anyone who has problems with their camera please do contact the seller. We are very happy with the quality of the video recordings and hopefully we will not have any further problems with this new camera. *WASTE OF MOMEY* Worked well initially but soon stopped charging and nothing can wake it up!!! No warranty to cover for defects past 3 months unlike purchases in shops. AVOID!

Habe sie aufgrund von Wildtieren im Garten bestellt. Die Wildkamera ist in einem schönem Design. Haben sie direkt ausprobiert und alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Auch die Verbindung mit dem Handy ging sehr schnell und war leicht erklärt. Nach ein paar Tagen hatten wir bereits Glück und konnten das Tier sehen. Die Bilder sind sehr qualitativ und scharf. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier vollkommen.

All’inizio sono rimasto deluso: la lunghezza focale fissa non permette di mettere a fuoco bene da vicino. Tuttavia, ho risolto il problema applicando una lente 3,5x presa da un paio di occhiali da lettura economici direttamente sull’obiettivo della videocamera. Con mia sorpresa, ha funzionato molto bene! La qualità dell’immagine è migliorata notevolmente e sono finalmente riuscito a ottenere le riprese ravvicinate che desideravo. La videocamera è ben costruita e molto facile da configurare. L’app per smartphone funziona senza problemi e il pannello solare è davvero efficace: dopo oltre una settimana di utilizzo continuo, la batteria è rimasta completamente carica. Il balcone dove l’ho installata non è molto illuminato, ma nonostante ciò le prestazioni sono ottime. Sto ancora sperimentando la distanza ideale tra la videocamera e la mangiatoia, ma finora sono molto soddisfatto. At first, I was disappointed—the fixed focal length just didn’t capture nearby subjects clearly. But I solved that by taping a 3.5x lens from a cheap pair of reading glasses over the camera lens. To my surprise, it worked! The image quality improved a lot, and I finally got the close-up footage I was aiming for. The camera is well made and easy to set up. The smartphone app works smoothly, and the solar panel is very effective—after over a week of continuous use, the battery has stayed fully charged. The balcony where it’s mounted doesn’t get much light, yet the camera still performs well. I’m still fine-tuning the distance to the feeder, but I’m really happy so far. Cette caméra est arrivée dans de très bonnes conditions quelques jours seulement après ma commande sur Amazon. La boîte est très belle et contient de nombreux accessoires dont une sangle, un support, et une carte micro SD de 32 Go très pratique pour commencer à utiliser la caméra immédiatement. La notice fournie est imprimée sur papier glacé, en français, et les explications contenues sont simples et précises. J’ai été frappé par la petite taille de cette caméra qui comporte pourtant sur le dessus un panneau photovoltaïque. Je pensais que celui-ci augmenterait beaucoup le volume de l’appareil mais il n’en est rien. L’assemblage de ces deux éléments est parfaitement étudié et fait que la caméra est très discrète, d’autant que le camouflage imprimé sur le boitier est très bien réalisé. J’étais également persuadé que le panneau photovoltaïque rendrait la caméra visible même de loin lorsqu’il était installé dans la nature mais je me suis rendu compte qu’il n’en était rien. Peut-être cela vient-il de l’angle selon lequel ce panneau photovoltaïque a été posé par rapport au boîtier, mais cette caméra est aussi discrète que s’il était absent. C’est étonnant ! Cette caméra peut recevoir un cadenas qui empêchera son ouverture mais également, à l’arrière, un câble antivol pouvant aller jusqu’à 8 mm interdisant toute tentative de vol. Outre les qualités essentielles demandées à toute caméra pour la photo animalière, j’attache une grande importance à ce point qui est capital pour moi. J’ai en effet failli être victime du vol de l’une de mes caméras récemment en pleine forêt, mais l’auteur a été mis en échec grâce à ce dispositif. La fermeture du boîtier est solide et très rassurante, grâce à deux clips, le rendant parfaitement étanche. De forts orages sont tombés il y a quelques jours dans mon secteur et j’ai ainsi pu vérifier l’étanchéité parfaite tant du boîtier que du panneau photovoltaïque. Ce dernier assure seul l’alimentation de la caméra, à condition bien sûr de la placer à un endroit où il reçoit la lumière du soleil. Personnellement, j’ai posé cette caméra sur un tronc d’arbre en forêt et donc à l’ombre des branches mais recevant néanmoins les rayons du soleil dans la journée. Je n’ai eu aucun problème d’autonomie durant toute une semaine. Il est à noter que la caméra dispose également d’un emplacement pour 4 piles AA 1,5 Volts de secours, en cas de mauvais temps ne permettant pas de recharger la batterie lithium intégrée (de 2600 mAh). Ces piles ne sont pas rechargées par le panneau photovoltaïque, elles ne sont qu’un éventuel appoint. Par ailleurs, cette caméra est équipée de son propre WI-FI Bluetooth permettant d’accéder à distance raisonnable (20 m maxi) aux réglages et aux photos ou vidéos prises. Ce dispositif, via un smartphone et l’application gratuite fournie «Trailcam Go», rend l’ajustement de l’angle de prise de vue très aisé lors de la pose de la caméra. La vitesse de détection d’animaux passant devant l’objectif se fait avec une grande rapidité et il est impossible de les manquer. La qualité des photos (en 48 MP) ou vidéos (1080) prises que ce soit de jour ou de nuit, est excellente. De nuit, les 22 leds infrarouges ne paraissent pas déranger les animaux, la grande majorité n’y prêtant même aucune attention. En conclusion, cette caméra Coolifepro SV-TCFSW, grâce à son alimentation lithium rechargée par son discret panneau photovoltaïque, représente une notable évolution dans le domaine. La vérification et le changement régulier des piles n’est plus nécessaire, seule reste la récupération des données de la carte (pouvant se faire avec le smartphone mais est très gourmande en énergie). Je ne regrette pas du tout cet achat car la qualité de ce produit ainsi que son prix très correct me satisfont pleinement.
