I got this camera to upgrade my collection. I've got a few others that serve me well but I wanted to have a few more features than the cheaper basic ones. I tried the instruction manual and that gave me QR codes for the manual and the warranty information, not the easiest to understand but it really was a simple setup process. The obvious difference is that this model has a solar panel and just uses 4 AA batteries as a backup. The panel works well at the moment but I have to admit that it's been good weather since I bought it. The picture quality is pretty good when it's used for stills and the video is a marked improvement on the cheaper models. The infra red works well, I'd say that the night, black and white, shots are every bit as clear as the daytime ones. One problem that I have had with my older cameras was that they'd not wake up quick enough to catch passing wildlife and I'd be left reviewing a bunch of empty shots. That's not the case with this model, I've caught what I intended with just about every shot. Granted it's not BBC quality filming but the video and stills are both good and more than adequate if you're hoping to identify the nature in the area. This cost me 25% more than my last one and I'd say it was worth every penny. I might even buy another and retire one of my others. Buy one, who knows what's happening in your back garden!

I have purchased Usogood cameras in the past and have been impressed with the results. I primarily use them to watch hedgehog activity at night. I was made aware of this new product and I was keen to try it, primarily because of the solar panel. I was not disappointed! The clarity of night time pictures and videos is amazing, so is the sound. The advantage of the solar panel for me, is not having to charge batteries and then reset the time and date every time! I was so pleased with it, I purchased a second one yesterday, again through Amazon.

I have previously bought a wildlife camera from usogood which I found to be well made and is still going strong. When I was looking at purchasing an additional camera, I planned to buy the same one again until I saw this upgraded version with the addition of a small solar panel and better picture and video quality. Although I am happy with the quality and battery life of my previous camera, I decided to upgrade to this one. Having had it for over a week now, I have to say I am very impressed. The camera has a built in lithium battery that is charged by the small solar panel on top, as well as 4 x standard AA batteries as a back up should the lithium battery run out. Despite being in the north of Scotland in March, the solar panel has kept the lithium battery fully charged with the standard batteries never been used yet. We have had a period of reasonable weather since setting up the camera but it has hardly been constant sunshine so the fact it has been enough to keep the battery charged is impressive. The camera was set up to keep an eye on my daughter's guinea pigs, as one was recently taken by a predator. Thankfully we have not had a visit but I have added a daylight image as well as one in complete darkness to show how clear the images are. Overall, I cannot fault this camera and it also seems to have the same excellent build quality of my previous camera that has never let me down.

This trail camera is just great value for money, not only is it 4K resolution picture quality but another bonus is its solar panel on top which when charged up and 4 battery's added for backup means that you can leave it on and recording for far longer than conventional battery only models, and for half the price of some of its competitors which I think is a no brainer for filming what's visiting your garden or other areas of your choice. Its so easy to set up following the instruction booklet, I mounted mine to a camera tripod which the camera has a mounting screw on the bottom for just that. I have taken some pictures of unboxing the camera and a still shot of a wood Pidgeon visiting my garden. Have fun with this trail cam its great when you can record animals in the night with infrared you never know what you might capture on film.

I highly recommend you get the solar panel model as it will save you a fortune in batteries. The image is excellent. The only negative is the SD card is not easy to take out.

An easy camera to set up and use, clear night and day vision, as good images, both pictures and videos, as the more expensive camera I have bought in the past. It's good to be able to leave the battery to recharge rather than having to buy batteries all the time and recharges effectively. It is catching the wildlife in our garden which is what I bought it for.
