The media could not be loaded. Bought this to keep an eye on the garden and local wildlife — for the price, it's been pretty good. The camera captures decent images and video, and the built-in solar panel seems to keep it fully charged, which is great — no messing about with batteries. The software is actually pretty good too — it gives you plenty of settings to play with (motion sensitivity, image quality, etc.) without being overwhelming or confusing. It’s straightforward enough that you can get things set up quickly without diving into a manual. That said, I’ve got a couple of gripes, but I guess that’s expected from a “budget” camera: There’s no option to connect it to Wi-Fi, which is a bit of a pain if you’re using it at home. You have to be within Bluetooth range to wake the camera, then connect to its own Wi-Fi to access footage — unless you just pull the SD card. The mounts for the solar panel could use a redesign. The locking nuts sit a bit too close to where the cable plugs into the camera, often getting in the way. It also makes repositioning the solar dish a bit fiddly — it either loosens or you end up putting stress on the cable. The SD card cover itself seals well, but because of the way the solar dish connects, part of the cover ends up flapping slightly — I’m a bit concerned it might lift over time and let water in. Overall, though, it’s been doing the job well. If you just need a basic, reliable trail cam with solar charging, this one does the trick — just be prepared to work around a few design quirks.

The media could not be loaded. This is the fifth trail camera I have purchased over the last 8 years. I bought the first from this company and was pleased with it, so have always purchased from them. Each time they have made improvements to the build or technical aspect and this camera is another step up. The built-in rechargeable batteries are a great positive, saves the expense of replacing standard AA batteries or recharging AA batteries regularly. The solar panel charger is also great, it has kept the charge at 100% even in recent gloomy days and can be used in wet weather. The app (I have Android) that accompanies the camera is excellent and easy to use. The wifi connection to the camera is far better than the previous model, I can connect from my kitchen with the camera about 5m away, so can view all videos without going to the camera. This would be most useful if you wanted to mount the camera higher up a tree, so would not need to climb up to see any footage. Since there are only internal batteries, the camera is much lighter than previous versions, so it must be strapped to something (strap supplied) solid (a brick even) to stop it being blown over, but this is not a problem. I have attached a nighttime video which show how clear the images are. The instruction manual is very clear and easy to follow and helps you set up the camera if you haven’t had one before. I haven’t looked at them, but there are videos too, to help set up. Being ultra picky, the manual is only in English, which is great since it is not a huge document in a dozen languages, which you often get !! There are QR codes to link you to the app and videos. I did have a query on the set up and contacted their customer services and I had a very swift response with the answer to my query, which was good also. All in all, as you can see, I am impressed with this latest trail camera and would recommend it. If you can still buy it at the 30% discount on Amazon at around £55 it is great value too.

Wow. This versatile wildlife trail camera is just brilliant. For a start, it arrived very well packed and I was surprised at how quickly I got it all set up. The instructions are clear, easy to follow, and the link between the camera and my smartphone app was accomplished in minutes. It is possible to erect the camera on a specially provided metal base, that can easily be screwed on a wall or fence, or it can be attached to a tree trunk using the fabric belt provided. That way, the camera can either act as a home security device, in a fixed location of your choice, or be used in a variety of locations in woodland so as to capture as much diversity of video or images you want. Talking of video, the 4K camera is exceptionally sharp. And best of all, using the in-built wifi connection, you can easily download images and videos to your phone from just a few feet away - no need to extract the memory card every time! This little powerhouse is great value for money and I'm sure that you, too, will be as impressed as I was.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really great camera - I received it a few days ago but with the torrential downpours I only set it up today. It has a sharp sensor for detecting when objects are moving, capturing them quickly. The charge holds well and there's lots of tweaks you can apply to make the power last even longer. As with all wildlife cameras, it can be a bit tricky to get the right spot for motion detection so you're not triggering it on a twig bouncing in the wind for example, or suffering from a lot of glare if it's pointed into direct sunlight, but this is really lightweight and easy to move around as required. For the pricetag, this is definitely worth picking up. Would make a fantastic gift for someone if this isn't your hobby personally, but it's fascinating to see the world at action around you when you're not there! Could also be used for more general security functions.

The media could not be loaded. Nachdem ich schon an anderer Stelle eine Kamera zur Beobachtung einer Futterstelle für Vögel installiert hatte, wollte ich eine zweite Stelle beobachten. Auf Amazon stieß ich dabei auch aufgrund des guten Preises auf die Assark Wildkamera. Bestimmte Parameter der Kamera waren bei der Auswahl gesetzt, weil sie sich schon bei der ersten Kamera als entscheidend herauskristallisiert hatten. Vorab: Die Assark Wildkamera erfüllt alle ... 1. Stromversorgung über einen verbauten Akku, der über eine Solarzelle geladen wird. Dadurch braucht man sich um die Stromversorgung nicht mehr zu kümmern. 2. Sinnvolle Auflösung bei Foto und Video. 3. Ton wäre nicht schlecht und nach Möglichkeit sollte er realistisch sein. 4. Schnelle Auslösung, wenn etwas in den Beobachtungsbereich kommt. Man will ja schließlich nicht nur wegfliegende Vögel fotografieren. Meisen sind üblicherweise nur kurz an der Futterstelle und verschwinden dann sofort mit ihrer Beute. 5. Sinnvolle Brennweite des Objektivs. Auch mit Tarnfarben akzeptieren Tiere bzw. Vögel elektronische Geräte nicht in ihrem unmittlebaren Umfeld. Andererseits darf der Blickwinkel nicht zu sehr ins Tele gehen. Die Assark hat meines Erachtens hier einen guten Kompromiss gefunden. Bei einem Abstand von einem guten Meter kann man die Kamera gut einsetzen. 5. Zubehör, Installationsmaterial. Es ist ein Gurt vorhanden und natürlich hat die Kamera dafür eine Aufnahme. Ein Stativ ist dabei und die Kamera hat natürlich das passende (ist eh standard) Stativgewinde. Nach einigen Tagen im Einsatz bin ich recht überzeugt von der Kamera. Dass eine Kamera bei Sonnenschein gute Aufnahmen macht ist kaum verwunderlich, aber die Assark macht auch bei schlechterem Licht vernünftige Aufnahmen. Die App zur Verbindung des Smartphones mit der Kamera bietet sowohl eine Liveansicht als auch die Möglichkeit der Einstellung diverser Kammeraoptionen. Ich bin der Meinung, dass die App gut und einfach zu bedienen ist. Man kann aber eigentlich nach der Ersteinrichtung vollständig auf die App verzichten, da die Fotos und Videos auf einer in die Kamera eingelegten (Lieferumfang) Flash-Speicherkarte im micro-SDCard-Format gespeichert werden. Diese zieht man bei Bedarf aus dem Gerät und liest sie dann am PC aus. Über die App könnte man die Fotos allerdings auch wireless empfangen, ohne die Karte ziehen zu müssen. Die Verbindung App zu Kamera kam bei mir grundsätzlich problemlos sofort zustande, ohne dass ich an der Kamera irgendetwas hätte tun müssen. Alles in Allem kann ich die Kamera sehr empfehlen.

The media could not be loaded. Die Kamera wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert. Im Vergleich zu meiner alten Wildkamera ist sie erstaunlich kompakt. Für mich das Wichtigste, ist die Spannungsversorgung über die mitgelieferte Solarzelle. Außerdem noch im Lieferumfang ist eine Micro-SD-Karte mit 32 GB, eine gute und ausführliche deutsche Anleitung mit Bildern, ein Spanngurt zum Befestigen der Kamera und eine verstellbare Halterung für das Solarmodul. Außerdem Schrauben und Dübel (habe ich nicht verwendet) und ein USB-C-Ladekabel. Die Kamera hat am Boden eine Standardbuchse zur Stativaufnahme. Die Ersteinrichtung ist auch für mich als Computerlaie, recht einfach und man wird Schritt für Schritt gut angeleitet. Eine kostenlose App steht im jeweiligen Store für Apple und Android zum download bereit. Die Bildqualität bei Fotos und Videos ist erstaunlich gut. Bei Interesse bitte meine Beispiele anschauen. Bilder sagen ja mehr als 1000 Worte. Die Nachtaufnahmen erfolgten bei absoluter Dunkelheit, wobei der Bereich durch die eingebauten Infrarot-LEDs "beleuchtet" wurden. Diese LEDs sind praktisch unsichtbar und verschrecken weder Mensch noch Tier. Der Bewegungssensor ist in mehreren Stufen bezüglich der Empfindlichkeit einstellbar. Bei hoher Empfindlichkeit hat die Kamera Bilder geschossen, wenn in ca. 15 Metern Entfernung ein Objekt (Mensch oder Tier) vorbei gekommen ist. Man kann also je nach Anforderung den Erfassungsbereich wählen. Die blaue Lade-LED ist abschaltbar, so daß die kleine Wildkamera praktisch in ihrer Umgebung verschwindet. Ich bin mit der Kamera absolut zufrieden. Das Preis - Leistungs- Verhältnis ist sehr gut, ebso die Verarbeitungsqualität und die Ausstattung. Übrigens: maximal können Micro-SD-Karten mit 256 GB verwendet werden.

Top Wildkamera, das Anbringen der Kamera ist über das mitgelieferte Material problemlos möglich. Die Verbindung und Einrichtung über die App funktionierte ebenso tadellos. Kameraaufnahmen bei Tag sowie bei Nacht sind hochauflösend und klar. Da es meine 1. Wildkamera ist, habe ich keinen direkten Vergleich zu anderen Kameras.

Top Kamera und super Kundenservice. Ich hatte erst ein paar Probleme mit der Kamera, aber Dank des super tollen Kundenservices, hab ich alles prima hinbekommen. Die Kamera kann per USB oder Solar aufgeladen werden und sie funktioniert problemlos mit der dazugehörigen App. Ein ganz kleines bisschen nervt mich, dass die Kamera sich immer wieder neu mit der App verbinden muss, wenn man schauen will, was sie aufgenommen hat. Aber dennoch kann ich die Kamera weiter empfehlen und ich überlege, mir eine 2. davon zu kaufen.
