I've had this camera for a couple of months now. I had some issues with my Apple computer being unable to recognise the SD card from the camera which was frustrating. But I have to really highly commend the customer service I received from the company. My complaint was handled by someone called Emma who offered various things to try to get to the bottom of the issue. It took us several emails over a few weeks to find a proper solution but communication was always timely, clear, very supportive and constructive. And we got there eventually! So, whilst the issue itself would have marked my feedback score down, the top customer service deserves top marks. Very pleased with the camera itself. Sound and image quality are very good, as good as a slightly older Browning trail cam that I have. The solar aspect has been really excellent: I'm running the camera on just the internal battery at the moment and its now under quite a lot of shade in a young beech woodland and it is still keeping fully-charged despite very patchy weather conditions (May in the UK). Very impressed with this, very convenient, and of course saves on batteries and costs. All in all I would certainly recommend this camera and company and would buy from them again.

First Note! When the camera is in 'ON' mode, the menu and keypad are locked. In order to make settings changes the camera needs to be in TEST mode... as in the manual... that I absolutely read first. Once that depletes, it can automatically switch to four AA batteries as a backup. Additionally, it supports USB-C charging as a last resort, offering multiple layers of redundancy. A single photo is about 350KB, and burst mode allows for 2-5 photos per trigger. Video file sizes vary by resolution, with a 10-second 720p video requiring 2.5-3.5MB, while a 2.7K video takes 12-16MB. If you anticipate capturing high levels of activity, upgrading to a 256GB SD card would be a wise choice to avoid frequent file management. Connectivity The camera connects to a companion app via Wi-Fi for initial setup and Bluetooth for media downloads. The app provides remote control over most of the camera's features, including the ability to customize motion-trigger zones. This makes managing the camera's settings and reviewing footage convenient and user-friendly. This review is for the Solareye Wildlife Camera WiFi Bluetooth - 2.7K 48MP Solar Trail Camera with Night Vision. Even though I found issues with this wildlife camera I have purchased a second to cover a different area of the garden. The first issue I encountered was when I tried to remove the protective films especially the one for the camera lens, the pull tabs are just too small for someone with large finger to get a hold of so I had to resort to using tweezers which risked scratching the surface that was being protected. There is a long strap that is provided to attach around a tree or pole but in my opinion there is a minimum diameter due to the design at the back of the camera, at the bottom there is a solid bar going from side to side but at the top there is a gap between the two point the strap passes through and if the object the camera is being attached to fits between those two points the camera ends up pointing upward, there should have been an equivalent horizontal bar to maintain the distance from the object it is being mounted on. As the camera uses an micro SD card for data storage I prefer to remove the card to perform fast downloads to my PC, but again having larger fingers I find it is not easy to get hold of with the camera in situ and there is a high risk of the card falling to the ground below and being lost forever. The only safe way I found to remove it was to dismount the camera. As the case is supposedly waterproof I can see no reason why the card could not have been inserted from the rear rather than bottom. Although there are a number of options to mount the camera I found the best option was to use a camera 'magic arm and clamp' which enabled me to mount the camera to any metal framework or small pole. In night vision mode I occasionally find I get a form of pixelation or drag in the image. In day mode the pictures are generally quite clear unless there has been rain when I have had a short period of misting over the lens. If the plan is to capture small birds I have found that 4ft or less is best for seeing detail of birds such as Wren and Goldcrest.

The media could not be loaded. Die Kamera funktioniert bisher einwandfrei. Die Aufnahmen (in meiner Einstellung Foto 16MP / Video 1080P) sind von guter Qualität. Die Verbindung zwischen Kamera und Smartphone/Tablet ist meist problemlos. Lediglich die Reichweite könnte etwas größer sein. Ein großer Vorteil ist das separate Solarpanel, das unabhängig von der Kamera platziert werden kann. Meine Kamera ist von 18:00 bis 08:00 Uhr betriebsbereit. Der Batterieverbrauch für diesen Zeitraum kann durch das Panel sogar bei Dunkelflaute ausgeglichen werden. Das Verbindungskabel ist ausreichend lang, könnte aber durchaus etwas länger sein. Als Notreserve können zusätzlich 4 AA 1,5V Batterien eingelegt werden. Leider keine Akkus. Die Software bzw. die App geht in Ordnung, hat aber auch noch etwas Luft nach oben. Die Einstellungen können über das Smartphone oder Tablet vorgenommen werden. Angenehm finde ich die Loop Option, mit der bei Erreichen der max. Speicherkapazität der im Paket bereits vorhandenen 32GB Karte die alten Aufnahmen überschrieben werden. Somit kann man sich das manuelle Löschen sparen. Auch der Support funktioniert gut. Anfragen wurden zeitnah beantwortet. Alles in allem stimmt bei diesem Gerät, zumindest für meine Zwecke, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und bekommt trotz kleiner Schwächen von mir 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Nachdem ich zunächst eine Wildkamera mit ähnlichen Eigenschaften gekauft hatte, welche ausschließlich 5 Sterne Bewertungen hatte, musste ich feststellen, dass bei dieser Kamera nur sehr große Objekte aufgenommen wurden. Deshalb bestellte ich diese Kamera. Wichtig waren für mich, Solar und diverse Möglichkeiten der Stromversorgung, sowie Verbindung per Wifi vom Handy zur Kamera. Zum Solar ist noch zu sagen, dass das Solarmodul nicht fest mit der Kamera verbunden ist, was eine vorteilhafte flexible Aufstellung/Anbringung ermöglicht. Die Verbindung zum Handy klappte ohne Probleme. Per Wifi ist die Kamera in der näheren Umgebung, bis ca. 15 Meter mit Fensterscheibe dazwischen, vom Handy aus zu erreichen. Die Datenübertragung von Bildern oder Video's klappt super, wenn auch etwas langsam. Die meisten Einstellungen der Kamera sind über die App durchzuführen. Das wichtigste bei der Kamera ist natürlich, dass sie bei Bewegungen auslöst und nicht so wie bei der ersten bestellten Kamera. So wurden streunende Katzen und selbst Vögel an der Futterstelle aufgenommen. Die Bild und Videoqualität ist hierbei sehr gut, auch niedrige Auflösungen ergaben brauchbare Bilder /Video's.

It is a great security/trail camera. It comes with everything you need to get it going right away. There are multiple mounting options, 32gb memory card and a USB-C for charging (Cable included). Powered by a built-in 5000mAh lithium battery with a large separate solar panel, USB C charging and room for 4 AA batteries for backup power in low light conditions. The motion sensor had an accuracy of 0.2 sec. 120 Degree viewing range. The IP66 waterproof case is light but very sturdy. Easy to mount both the Solar Panel and the camera in many different places. The camera many options, but is simple to set up. The included instructions are easy to read. The pics/vid look great, with 48MP pictures and 2.7K recording available. Use the app to view live video, viewed stored picture and video and maintain the SD Card (Included). I recommend this camera. Also, customer support staff are amazing!
